All Stars To Make Lernerville Return, Silver Cup Included

SARVER, Pa. – The All Star Circuit of Champions will return to Lernerville Speedway for two big events next year, with the longstanding Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup a part of the deal.

The series’ first trip to the four-tenths-mile clay oval is set for Friday, April 29, for an event that will feature a $6,000 winner’s share.

It’s slated to be the first time the All Star Circuit of Champions will visit Lernerville since the 2019 season, as COVID-19 pandemic conditions scratched its 2020 visit and mother nature washed away this year’s scheduled appearance

On Wednesday, July 6, the All Star Circuit of Champions will sanction the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXXI, which will continue to pay a whopping $25,000 to the winner. The Silver Cup now becomes one of the highest-paying events on the series schedule that now includes 60 dates across 11 states.

“We’re very excited to bring in the All Stars and their thrilling brand of high-level sprint car racing,” Lernerville Speedway General Manager Mike Lysakowski said. “I have always been a fan of the All Stars and for 2022, we had more freedom in choosing a date for this year’s Silver Cup. We believe we have chosen a date that is very conducive to bringing both national and regional sprint car aces to Lernerville.”

The Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXXI will feature a plethora of sprint car standouts across the country.

The All Stars have a storied history at the Sarver, Pa., clay oval that’s evolved for over 30 years.

Drivers that have reached victory lane in All Star series competition over the years include Bobby Allen, Keith Kaufman, Dale Blaney, Ed Lynch Jr., Dean Jacobs, Kasey Kahne, Chad Kemenah, Stevie Smith, Tim Shaffer, Danny Holtgraver, Sheldon Haudenschild, Aaron Ruetzel and many others.

More announcements around Lernerville Speedway’s schedule are forthcoming.
