Reutzel Leads All Star Sprints Into New York

BROWNSBURG, Ind. – The Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will continue the month of July with a big-money stretch in the Empire State.

The All Star travelers will battle at three different tracks this weekend, July 12-14, all while chasing a total winner’s share of $22,000.

The three-day march across central and southern New York will begin on Friday evening, July 12, at Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y., awarding a $5,000 top prize.

The weekend will resume on Saturday night, July 13, at the home of the hard clay – Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, N.Y.

One the largest ovals on the schedule, a sprawling five-eighths-mile, the visit to Orange County will be accompanied by a main event purse of more than $33,000 – including a $10,000 payout to the feature winner and a minimum of $600 to start the main event.

Speaking of big money, the three-day swing through New York will conclude on Sunday evening, July 14, with a visit to Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y.

Synonymous with big action and high speed, the Sunday night blockbuster at Lebanon Valley Speedway will award a $7,000 top prize, as well as a minimum of $1,000 to start. With all positions considered, the main event’s total purse is a staggering $39,450.

Aaron Reutzel, the leading series winner this season and the defending All Star champion, will lead the All Star Circuit of Champions charge into New York on Friday afternoon.

The Clute, Texas, native owns five All Star victories this year, most recently at Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway on June 5. He currently sits on top of the point standings by 10 markers over six-time All Star champion and recent Ohio Sprint Speedweek titlist, Dale Blaney.
