TRACY, Calif. – Park Jefferson Int’l Speedway in South Dakota will see the Open Wheel Nationals presented by Real-Geese Silhouette take center stage Saturday night, with Kyle Offill set to make the trip out.
“It’s been a crazy last few days making the decision to head out and get back to racing,” Offill said. “It is really exciting to finally get to race again, and it should be a lot of fun doing it across the country.”
While the race on Saturday night will be a breath of fresh air for motorsports enthusiasts worldwide, the race will be run with extreme social distancing guidelines, including no fans in the stands, only 10 people per car in the pit area, and limited entries.
“I am pretty fortunate to have some great partners that support us, and a great family behind me that is eager to make this trip as well,” Offill added. “We have our masks, we have our hand sanitizer, and we have what we need to take the precautions to keep ourselves safe this weekend.”
Making the trip out a little short handed, Dillon Paddock and Keith Offill will partake in this weekend’s event with Offill, and the team will also be joined by South Dakota resident Alex Johnson, who has helped the team at bigger events in California the last few seasons.
